Little Miss Personality
My sweet little Ava is such a performer. She will break out in a full on ballet complete with songs pretty much anywhere. At home, we have a fireplace with a marble hearth and that is her stage. She puts on shows for us all of the time.
We put her in ballet two years ago and she was enamored from day one. I’m not sure if it was the pretty pink costume or the little ballet slippers that did it, but she’s hooked. We’ve been through two recitals and even though they take a second mortgage to pay for them, I think they are completely worth it.
This year, her routine had the girls dressed as bunnies. They came out from behind a big top hat and some guy in a cape with a wand tapped them on their little heads to make them dance. Despite the fact that she was terrified of this dude, the performance was precious beyond words.
I don’t want to push her to continue dancing so the minute she says she’s done, I’ll pull her out. But in the meantime, I’m loving every minute of watching my little girl and her graceful moves glide across my marble hearth every day.
Sooo cute! You just made me smile 🙂 I think that’s what my daughter will be like in a few years. She loves to dance 🙂
