I really hate technology sometimes.
All I wanted to do tonight was do a nice vlog post for my first ever Wino Wednesday. But no. Stupid technology was all against that shit.
So here I am, on my third glass of wine, watching my PC defrag. Oh, and writing this post on my iPhone.
Anywhoo…this wine I’m drinking tonight is quite tasty. Even before the third glass it was good. It’s a nice, deep cherry red Old Vines Zinfandel from St. Francis in Sonoma, CA.
I bought this zin for about $14 at Kroger this afternoon. It was on sale down from $16.50. Honestly, cost savings is a big selling point for me. I’ll actually compare the cost per ounce and total savings amount on the shelf label before I buy a wine.
But the taste…wow. This wine is really good. It has strong cherry and raspberry aroma with hints of licorice and black pepper. It isn’t so dry that you need water on the side, but dry enough to make you pour another glass.
Overall, I’d recommend this wine to anyone who may want to try a reasonably priced Zinfandel with a medium to full body. Im talking about the wine, not you. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
I am truly amazed that you wrote this post on your iPhone. That is quite the remarkable feat! I am truly sorry that your computer is being a pain. We own many computers in our home (everywhere) which at one point – years ago – annoyed me but soon discovered what a blessing it was.
